Hedman Hedders has been manufacturing quality headers in the USA since 1954, and making Mustang headers for nearly as long as they've been on the road. Each set uses mild steel, smooth flowing, CNC mandrel bent tubes, that are hand-welded to ensure each pair is identica. Hedman's unique, gasketless ball and socket collector design allows your SB Ford's exhaust system to bolt up, even if it is not perfectly aligned with the header collectors.

This set is part of Hedman's ELITE line of headers with stout 3/8" flanges, and thicker 14 gauge primary tubes. The heavy-duty construction of HEDMAN ELITE Hedders makes them ideal for high-performance engines, which produce higher exhaust temperatures.

ELITE models have a MATTE-SILVER ceramic finish that can withstand temperatures up to 1400 degrees F. The coating looks keeps more heat in the tubes, resulting in faster exhaust speeds for improved exhaust scavenging, and reduced underhood temperatures.

These LONG-TUBE headers fit 1964-73 Ford Mustang and Falcon, '66-73 Ranchero & Torino, '69-77 Maverick, '66-70 Fairlane, '67-73 Mercury Cougar and'70-73 Comet models fitted with a 260-302W engine. They also fit a factory-equipped 351W 1969-73 Mustang (must be factory-equipped. For 351W swap, use Hedman's 88660 header series) These headers fit Manual or C4 (only) transmission equipped vehicles. The long, smooth 1-5/8 in. tube design provides excellent exhaust flow to let your Ford Windsor block engine breathe deep, and produce excellent horsepower and torque gains.

Each set includes a pair of gaskets, header flange bolts and collector bolts. No collector gasket is needed.

Hedman Hedders is so confident in the quality of its headers that these headers are factory backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty. The ceramic-metallic coating is covered by a 5-year factory warranty, in addition to Hedman's standard lifetime header warranty.
