These connection pipes are for use with our CSP Headers for the 6th Gen Camaro.   They are used to connect the header to the factory exhaust by cutting it and then using our slip fit connection.  Ultra-Green catalytic converters capable of 850 horsepower per bank are present on these pipes.  They are the only ones made with the GESI / G-Power 4.5" housing and are an EPA compliant catalytic converter (Not CARB) as a 400 cell count.   These are meant for boosted Camaros and tested to over 1000 rwhp.  O2 bungs are present on this connection pipe.

Ultra Cats (UC2) – These are our second generation big boy cats, and they are the most capable catted setup on the market today. These are most similar to the GESI Gen2 85230 cat, capable of handling up to 850 horsepower per bank, bringing the total up to 1700 horsepower for the setup! These are a step above the GREEN cats as they have a 4.5” housing instead of 4”. Where the GREEN cats had failed in our testing (around 780 RWHP and over) the CSP/Kooks Ultra Cats have succeeded to over 1100 RWHP and we have yet to find the limits with the proper tuning and setup. While Kooks may have a significantly lower rating listed on their website, we have done extensive dyno testing on our CSP systems, and we know that with the right tune, these cats handle the rated power!

DISCLAIMER: It is also crucial to note that the quality of a tune, and the setup, cannot be understated. CSP is confident in the UC2 cats ability to withstand up to 1700 HP on our in-house dyno tune, but not all tunes or cars are created equal. There are multiple factors in keeping even the most robust cats like ours happy. Timing and fueling are huge factors – not so much power level even though that's how the power limit is rated. For example, if you have a car making 1,000 RWHP, and you detune it by timing alone to 750 RWHP, the car will likely destroy the cats due to high exhaust temperatures from the lower timing. Honestly, having at least 16 degrees of timing (after all IAT and other timing reductions) is critical to keeping the cats happy at full throttle.

We regularly run these cats on a CSP dyno tune at over 1,100 RWHP without issue.
