UMI’s GM A-body bump steer kit for 1971-1972 models is designed to improve handling and straight-line stability by reducing or eliminating toe change during suspension travel, commonly known as “bump steer.” This kit allows for the relocation of the outer tie rod end lower than stock, without the need for spindle drilling. The kit features a 4140 CrMo stud construction, race quality rod end, jam nuts, and locking hardware. It also includes laser-cut spacers of various sizes for customization. The adjuster sleeve is made of 6061-T6 Black Anodized Aluminum and is designed for easy installation with factory inner tie rods and spindles. Manufactured in Philipsburg, PA, this bump steer kit is race-proven and comes with detailed instructions and technical support.
