Skyjacker's legendary Softride coil spring technology engineered processes achieve exact height and precise coil spring rates. Known for phenomenal Softride performance, Skyjacker's precision engineering gives you off-road responsiveness with smooth consistence handling characteristics. The process starts with high tensile chrome silicon wire, an advanced method of shot peening and a presetting process. Each coil spring is blasted (shot peen) with hard steel pellets at very high velocities. Shot peening compresses the surface of the steel thereby increasing the tensile strength of the spring. Compressing the spring completely down to where the coils touch (solid height) is preset. This takes any fatigue or stress off the spring and eliminates sagging. Every coil spring has endured a cycle test to assure the very best in quality. Coilover coil springs end configurations are closed. Each coil springs end configurations is ground flat to create a flat surface perpendicular to the spring axis for even surface. This flat surface delivers an even distribution of spring force to the working assembly and improves ease of assembly. All Made in the USA with a stylish, extremely durable protective powder-coated black finish that resists corrosion
