This stamped steel air cleaner base is ideal for 69-70 Big Block Mustang owners wanting to run a metal base instead of a fiberglass one. This air cleaner base is similar to the Scott Drake concours 428CJ base but it does not have provisions for the breather tube or snorkel opening. This provides a cleaner look for vehicles not running original smog equipment. Fits 1969-70 390 and 428 motors. Note: Some aftermarket intakes do not position the carburetor in the exact same location as factory and may affect fitment. Will not fit small blocks.
