This beefy upgrade allows for installation of a larger spare tire and wheel on your Jeep JK without damaging the vehicle. The factory JK tire carrier simply isn t designed to withstand the size and weight of a larger, aftermarket tire and wheel. Made of a durable, steel construction, this kit is designed to replace the weak factory joints while eliminating stress and rattle. Rough Country's Heavy-Duty Hinged Tire Carrier Kit includes a reinforced hinge replacement system and an adjustable spare tire mount, allowing you to mount up to a 37in tire with plenty of clearance over a factory or aftermarket bumper. Each kit also includes a 3rd brake relocation bracket to retain your factory brake light. This easy to install kit features a bolt-on installation process with no cutting or drilling required.
