The Aluminator light-compatible receiver hitch step is made for units that work where conditions are never predictable. Once pinned into a standard 2” receiver, it creates a strong 26” platform that crews can trust at either end of the vehicle. Setup is straightforward, break-down is fast, and every piece of hardware is included so teams can put it into service immediately. Its construction reflects the realities of law enforcement, security details, and fleet operations. The step is built from 6060 T6 aluminum and finished with a textured black powder coat that resists corrosion and the wear that comes with daily shifts. The raised treads bite down underfoot, giving officers and other workers sure footing in rain, snow, mud, or anything else they face outside the vehicle. The Aluminator also brings critical visibility to active scenes. It accepts standard 1x4” lights from Code 3, Federal Signal, Feniex, SoundOff Signal, Whelen, and other leading brands (lights sold separately.
