Hedman Hedders has been manufacturing quality headers in the USA since 1954, and they've been manufacturing LONG and MID-LENGTH tube headers for Chevy trucks for nearly as long. These headers are manufactured from 100% T304 Stainless Steel to provide durability rivaled only by Hedman's ELITE® line of headers. They have smooth flowing, CNC mandrel bent tubes, that are hand-welded to ensure each pair is identical to the next, and utilize 3/8 in. thick T304 stainless flanges to prevent warping. Hedman's unique, gasketless ball and socket collector design allows your Small Block Chevy exhaust system to bolt up, even if it is not perfectly aligned with the header collectors.
These raw stainless LONG-TUBE headers use Hedman's best selling Chevy truck header configuration. They fit a wide range of early to mid-year 1967-1987 2WD & 4WD Chevy/GMC 1/2 Ton and 3/4 ton trucks, Blazers and Suburbans (check the application listings for exact fitment), powered by a Small Block Chevy engine (without A.I.R. System). The smooth 1-5/8 in. tube design provides ample exhaust flow to let your truck's 283-400 SB Chevy engine breathe easy, and produce maximum horsepower and torque. These headers are uncoated, and ship from the factory with a raw stainless surface. For protection against the element and lower under hood temperatures, these headers are also available with a silver or black ceramic-metallic finish.
Each set includes a pair of gaskets, header flange bolts and collector bolts. No collector gasket is needed.
