Gator Fasteners MSK5912 - Dodge 2500/3500 1989-98 5.9L Heavy Duty Main Stud Kit

Upgrade the durability and reliability of your 1989-1997 Dodge 5.9L Cummins 12V Diesel engine with the Gator Fasteners HD220 Heavy Duty Main Stud Kit (MSK5912).

Manufactured from Gator's proprietary HD220 alloy, these 14mm main studs deliver industry-leading tensile strength (over 220,000 PSI), outperforming ARP's 8740 chromoly (190,000-200,000 PSI) and stock hardware. This translates to exceptional main cap retention, reduced risk of main cap walk, and bottom-end security for high-power, towing, or racing builds.

Each stud features a corrosion-resistant black oxide finish and is precision-machined for a direct fit on 14mm 12V Cummins blocks. Installation is straightforward, but be sure to verify compatibility: this kit fits only 14mm main cap engines (1989-1997). 14mm engines have one turbo oil drain port; 12mm engines (1997.5+) have two.

For 1997.5+ engines with 12mm studs, use Gator Fasteners MSK5924.
