Vega-Style Steering Box with Ball Socket Pitman Arm. This kit is designed for the early Camaros, Novas, and Firebirds. Compact steering box weighs only 12 lbs. Reduces front end weight and improves header clearance. Kit Includes: Performance Steering Box and Ball Socket Pitman. (Adapters Sold Separately) NOTE: Adapter is recommended for installation: FR1798-100 for original column with 1" DD shaft, or FR1798-148 for aftermarket column with 1"-48 Shaft. 1967-69 Camaro, 1968-74 Nova, 1967-68 Firebird, GMC Syclone/Typhoon IMPORTANT: Not Recommended for Vehicles over 3,000 lbs. Not for use in vehicles that are subjected to wheelstands and voids all warranties. Not designed for Circle Track Racing. Use in Circle Track Racing voids all warranties.
