The EGR RA039842 is a heavy duty steel brace support fitting the underside of the tub of the 2024-2025 Ford Ranger. CNC trimmed and powder coated, this support is needed for any additional weight added to the bed of your Ranger.

Ford requires that any 2024 Ranger (new body style) with accessories above the bedrails that exceed 99 lbs. be fitted with reinforcement brackets, also called a J-braces. Our aftermarket J-brace, part number RA039842 fits ALL trim levels, including the Raptors. A J-brace MUST be installed before any racks, tents, or other accessories weighing 88 lbs. or more.
