Detroit Speed’s Weight Jack Lower Control Arm Kit is a high-performance upgrade designed to replace stock control arms and front springs on Fox Body Mustangs and Mercury Capris. Engineered for improved suspension geometry and maximum wheel clearance, this kit enhances handling while allowing for precise ride height and corner balance adjustments. It’s the perfect solution for street, autocross, and track-focused builds when using a strut style suspension. ENHANCED SUSPENSION GEOMETRY & CONTROL This kit’s tubular lower control arms optimize suspension geometry, improving front-end stability and steering response. Featuring SN95 Mustang ball joints and greaseable Delrin™ bushings, it delivers smoother articulation and greater durability than factory components. The tight-profile design maximizes wheel and tire clearance at full steering lock, ensuring superior fitment for aggressive setups. WEIGHT JACK SYSTEM FOR ADJUSTABILITY Detroit Speed’s Weight Jack system makes it easy to fine-tune ride height and corner balance without disassembling the suspension. Using 2.5” ID springs, it expands tuning flexibility for a variety of performance applications. Whether dialing in stance or optimizing handling balance, this system provides quick, precise adjustability. DETROIT SPEED TESTED & TUNED SPRING RATES The included 700 lb/in springs have been extensively tested by Detroit Speed to provide exceptional handling characteristics. BOLT-ON PERFORMANCE & IMPROVED CASTER Designed as a direct bolt-in upgrade, this kit includes bushing spacers that allow for standard or forward mounting locations.
