D-Mat solves the need for a lightweight heat barrier and insulation for headliners, doors, trunks, rear bulk heads & more. Advanced Thermal-Acoustic insulation designed for under head liners, doors, package trays and other areas. Extremely light weight and pliable D-Mat is the perfect choice for these areas. At only 12MM thick, compressible and pliable, D-Mat can be used in even the most difficult areas to insulate providing thermal protection and keeping your interior cool. Made from a polymer blend with a scrim backing D-Mat can be used in applications up to 325°F while showing up to an 65% reduction in heat. D-Mat has exceptional acoustic absorption, meets flammability rating and is mildew and bacteria resistant. D-Mat is recommended for all high performance applications including show vehicles, project cars and trucks, muscle cars, street rods and vintage vehicles; most any application or location except for the floor where Boom Mat's Under Carpet Lite is preferable.
