This fully functional dual plenum hood cowl system reduces the under-hood temperature on the Jeep JK by at least 12% (up to 20% reduction when combined with the KJ71048BK Side Vent Kit). With Daystars Carbon Fiber Hood Cowl Kit, you no longer have to replace the entire hood to reduce heat. Easy to install, the hood cowl kit comes complete with detailed instructions and template for the necessary cutting and drilling and maintains the factory under hood insulation for a completely factory like installation. The kit comes with the carbon fiber hood cowl assembly, two side trim rings, dual windshield wiper squirter kit, and stainless steel mounting hardware. The Daystar Hood Cowl can be primered and painted prior to installation.
