The CURT E16™ 5th wheel slider hitch is built to make towing with a short-bed truck easier, more comfortable and more convenient. Combining a dependable dual-pivot hitch head with the proven S20 slider, it provides the flexibility needed for everyday towing and the additional clearance required for maneuvering in tight spaces. When navigating campgrounds, backing into a site or making sharp turns, the integrated S20 slider provides up to 12 inches of rearward travel to help improve trailer-to-cab clearance. The slider automatically latches in both towing and maneuvering positions, reducing setup time and allowing operation with fewer trips in and out of the truck. The E16 hitch head is engineered for smooth, controlled towing. Its dual-pivot design allows the head to move with the trailer, providing up to 10 degrees of lateral articulation for better handling on uneven roads and terrain. An integrated anti-rattle skid plate helps minimize noise during travel, creating a quieter ride from departure to destination. Coupling and uncoupling are simple thanks to the single-handle operating system. Four adjustable height positions make it easy to achieve a level towing setup across a variety of truck and trailer combinations, while compatibility with many kingpin extension boxes, including common pivoting designs, provides greater versatility. Installation is streamlined with quarter-turn puck system anchors that allow the hitch to be mounted or removed quickly when full bed access is needed. Adjustable anchors help create a secure fit within the puck system to reduce movement and unwanted chucking during towing.
