For flat tappet engine combinations that are limited on Rocker ratio due to rules, these Camshafts offer a new level of performance and on-track consistency. With innovative lobe designs that deliver increased airflow and combustion efficiency, the COMP Cams engineers incorporated the latest in flat tappet Cam Technology to develop Camshafts that are the new standard for performance and durability in IMCA sanctioned Competition. Due to the aggressive nature of these Camshafts, we recommend premium-quality valve springs such as the Race Series #26094, race-quality lifters #800-16, ideally with EDM Cam face oiling provisions, heavy-duty Stud mount Rockers and 3/8 or larger diameter pushrods. Optional nitriding service also available #1-111-1. SBC - 1955-57 models have an oiling groove in the rear journal. The listed part numbered cams will not fit these models, so if you require a Camshaft with the oiling groove, please call us and we will assist you with placing an order.
