Description

Brothers Trucks TAC72AS - Dropped Trailing Arm Crossmember - Anti-Squat - Shortbed

Brothers Trucks Dropped Trailing Arm Crossmember - Anti-Squat - Shortbed

Compatible with 1963-1972 Chevrolet/GMC C10/C15

This crossmember is designed for 2WD 1/2-ton trucks that have been lowered 4-inches or more, and have the rear trailing arm and rear coil spring rear suspension. This part increases ground clearance on your lowered truck. Anti-squat bolt-on mounts allow for the use of 5 different trailing arm settings. The lower hole is for factory trailing arm position, and is adjustable for up to 4 degrees of anti squat allowing more drive off of corners for better performance. Designed for shortbed applications with one-piece driveshafts. Long bed trucks can also use this part, but will require modifications to drill and mount the factory carrier bearing for the driveshaft.

  • Laser cut from 3/16-inch thick 1018 grade steel
  • Hoop design eliminates any interference with drive shaft on lowered trucks
  • Bolt in directly to your stock location
  • Works with factory and aftermarket trailing arms
  • Anti squat provisions included
  • Adjustable from factory position up to 4 degrees anti squat
  • Integrated exhaust passages allow up to 3-inch dual exhaust
  • No welding required for an easy installation
  • Includes grade 8 hardware
  • Fits 1/2-ton RWD trucks with trailing arm and coil spring rear suspension
  • Designed for short bed trucks, but can also be used on longbed trucks with modifications to drill and mount the factory carrier bearing for the driveshaft
