This cylinder head is sold individually and ships fully machined and CNC ported with finished valve guides and seats installed. LT1 type valves are installed to correct height with our .660" lift Platinum spring kit, ready for your stock type LS1 rocker arm setup, then bolt-on and go! BTR exclusive canted-valve design allows for maximum valve unshrouding and sizing - Cathedral fits a 3.780" bore, LS3 style fits a 3.820" bore! 11° intake (5° canted) and 13° exhaust (3° canted) Cast in Iowa - Designed, tested, machined & sold in Kentucky! LS1 style port finished to 250cc - Chamber finished to 63cc Intake flow - Over 360 CFM at .650” when used with BTR’s port program! Uses OEM LT1 2.125” steel hollow-stem intake and 1.590” steel exhaust valves LT4 Ti intake and L8T Inconel™ exhaust valves can also be used with lash caps Superior OEM-type powdered metal guides Utilizes OEM-style straight LS1 pedestal rockers, OEM-style intake & exhaust manifolds, and LS-style valve covers Uses Gen V LT style long reach spark plugs and valve spring kits up to 1.350” O.D. spring Clears 3/8” pushrods – Typical length intake 7.925-8.025” & exhaust 7.900-8.000” Extra-thick .750” boost-friendly deck in popular “6-bolt” configuration BTR / Wiseco Canted-Valve specific pistons available for most popular LS applications Multiple Patents Pending! INSTALLATION NOTES – Uses LS1 rocker bolts. M10x1.5 Accessory hole commonly used for dipstick is shallower than OEM to prevent water jacket intrusion, please check your dipstick bolt prior to final assembly. Like many aftermarket heads, a sealant will be required on intake rocker bolt threads that intersect the port. ALWAYS VERIFY NEVER ASSUME all engine clearances before final assembly.
