Description

Bilstein 33-286884 - Shock Absorbers

EM46 Series - Suspension Shock Absorber

46mm Monotube Shock Absorber

Bilstein EM46 Series shock absorbers are emulsion dampers that feature an all-steel smooth body construction and 46mm piston for motorsports applications.  The shock absorbers also include a large 22mm shaft, severe duty 3 stage high temperature rod seal and can convert to coilover usage (kit sold separately).  EM46 Series shock absorbers are ideal for racers looking for a rebuildable shock with the ability to create and fine tune spring rate as a replacement or supplement for suspension springs.

  • Utilizes emulsion technology to regulate spring rate characteristics through variation of oil and nitrogen volume for limitless tuning combinations
  • Smooth zinc plated OD body design allows for optional standard and coilover applications
  • 22mm case hardened, centerless ground chrome shaft provides optimal displacement, brute tensile strength and resists chipping and scratching
