The T1028 is a service replacement part for the DiabloSport inTune i3, i2, I-1000, and I-1000-DCX \"ipod\" style connector. This cable works for all inTune i2 products. Note that this cable should only be used on inTune I-1000 and I-1000DCX products that have a build date after March of 2013.
This cable cannot be used on older inTune units built before 03-13, to check your build date look on your inTune or inTune DCX product box for a white date code sticker that will display a month and year (Example 03-13). This sticker is right above the bar code and serial number on your inTune product box.
NOTE: Using this inTune replacement cable on an inTune built before the 03-13 build date could cause damage to the OBD-II connection on your inTune device. If you are not sure which model you have, please email us at salesinfo (at) diablosport (dot) com for us to verify your connection type.For older cable types use the DiabloSport T1025 (right angle) or T1026 (straight) cable versions.
