This is the Pro Guard 5 Version of the AFE G8 Intake. It uses a traditional blue oiled filter that will need to be cleaned used an AFE Restore Kit every 30-40,000 Miles.
This performance cold air intake system picks up 10 Hp at 4,300 RPM, 12 lbs x ft of torque at 4,000 RPM and increases airflow by 35% over stock. Features a massive air filter for the highest possible air flow, a one-piece, powdercoated heat shield to keep out hot engine air, and optimized MAF sensor positioning for trouble free installation. Installs in 30-45 minutes with no cutting or drilling required.
